Le cultivar taïwanais n°17, implanté dans le nord de la Thaïlande, confère au Ruan Xi ses notes fleuries (fleurs blanches), et lactées. Sa liqueur riche en arômes et au caractère légèrement pyrogéné supporte plusieurs infusions.
Grown in north Thailand, the Taiwanese cultivar #17 gives the Ruan Xi its flowery notes (white flowers) and milky touch. Rich in aromas and slightly woody, its liquor can be steeped several times.
